How do you make your own art

Hi it would be nice for there to be a feature in game like a grid canvas which you can colour in with all the colours possible and then number the colours and then once you’re done it converts it to a colour by number picture, which you can then upload to a workshop or something.

That's basically Workshop feature for them to implement. However, until that is eventually done, just google create pixel art and there's bunch of free software solutions for you to try. Even devs recommended some for use, there's a contest going on right now for user created content.
