Tsumugi Wenders -> Kamome Kushima -> Ao Sorakado
So far, for me Tsumugi shine the brightest in term of favorite girl and route. Her route is short, yet so memorable. If I would say, her route is somewhat like a fairy tale and I love it so much. Yes, I agreed with you that toward the end I feels I don't want the summer vacation to end too. Almost like I can feel Tsumugi in that last days of summer.... And then that climax and ending make me cry a lot. This route really make me "remember that summer vacation when you think it would last forever". Tho in my case, it's not summer vacation since there's no summer here but a long school vacation once every year.
This is probably sound very stupid but, for me her route outshine every single route from all routes I have read in vn including but not limited to Key works. The way the route is so short yet so memorable is definitely something fantastic for me. :Mugyu:
Tsumugi was very cute and heartbreaken especially the end but overall a good route, bc of her route im looking forward to Shizukus route if we get Reflection Blue.
Kamome was weird at first for me bc the story did make it look like u were on the island as a kid bc of the memories and then the revelation was kinda cool i guess? Also how she and her mother tried to fullfill the promise was also sweet but her ending left me a bit unsatisfied
Shiroha well where to start the only spoiler i give is she and another character are the main characters of the story. The "common" route of Shiroha was ok i guess and tbh i wanted to know more about her especially after that ending. But then came the final 2 routes Alka and Pocket. I can only say if ur build near water and got emotionaly invested during the route in the characters it will make u cry, at least i did Q_Q
So if ur asking what my fav Heroine/s were the final route ones
I just hope when we get Reflection Blue that the additional routes are good and maybe giving us some more info/rewritting to fix some issues i guess.
Also that red haired heroines looks interesting.
@Alc - I couldn't agree more, i admit Ao's ranked a bit higher for me but i did hers first which kind of explained more of the lore of the game so it really helped me understand a lot, and i love the concept of the butterflies and how touching them would reveal memories, that was really neat . But yeah that ain't stupid at all, i actually totally agree, a shorter but sweet one is nice, i kinda of took my time with hers just not wanting it to end, but i think it equally matches the games theme, Hairi explains in the start about how when your a kid you don't want summer to end and it feels everlasting, i think Tsumugi's wrapped this one up really well in contrast to his early thoughts.
Oh, and she is adorable as can be :Mugu~ Mugigigigigigi
@Taiketsu - Common route i totally agree, i think the humour and its execution around Ao is likely the reason i went for her first, i kind of just loved the pervy side to them too, she can blame her night trips all she wants (spoiler free), we know its her real nature ;)
i totally thought Hairi had lived on the Island in the past during Kamome's route, this seriously confused me for a while
Shiroha was my issue, in the common route she was hard to like, i normally like shy characters but her hostility didn't do her favours, she was the same when appearing in others routes like Tsumugi's, shame really.
Btw - you seem to know Reflection Blue well, do you know which routes are in it? I really would like a Miki route, or one with Tenzen and Ryouichi (just a fun Slice of life thing xD), awesome to hear Shizuka gets one though, she is a awesome guest character in my opinion, and totally needs a ending, i questioned how close she planned to get in TsumuTsumu's route xD I wasn't bothered about her at first, she was average but man when she jokes about that cheating with her thing... i kind of wanted a option, not to go through with it but to chain a ending from her would be kinda fun :D not that i would betray Mugyu <3

I saw an artwork of Key where she sits in the middle of a stormy see with the lanterns of the festival which makes me hope that she maybe has some bigger role/story to tale maybe.
About Shiroha well yeah in her common route you only get slowly info out of her why she is like this. You will learn to love her in Alka/Pocket route i think at least i did bc it was so damn sweet, tragic and loveable at the same time + the 2. main chara for the routes.
Also just remembered on vndb there was a post about a short story about Hitomi (Shirohas mother) and Kyouko as well the Katou family role or better what power they have in a way. Since i cant read japanese i dont know rly what it is except for some small summary that was there.
Glad they added someone new as well, thing is for me, i love getting what we know (the other 3) but a new one here and there adds a new feel to the game, it was like Saya in Little busters (if you played the original before EX or the english official release), she was added as a extra and i quite liked the idea.
Hmm, i will judge Shiroha after i finish everything i guess, i wont make too many judgements prior to that :P

Yep, I even agreed on that Ao route had more depth than the others, well I just completed Shiroha and 'A' route so at least I can say that among the common routes. Actually I want to write about her route too in my first post comment but.... I hesitated because we're talking about the most favorite heroine and routes so I figured I might ended up writing my feelings toward all of the routes I had played haha. I mean if we keep it on the topic, Tsumugi is invincible. Mugyugyu~
Best story: Tsumugi's route, ALKA and Pocket
My new order would be
Alka -> Tsumugi -> Ao -> Pocket -> Shiroha -> Kamome
I actually did love Kamome's route, i know she is generally seen as the least favourite but the trick it did and just her fun sense of adventure was really fun for me, just the others routes was THAT good, it was hard putting Shiroha so far down.
Favourite Character - Tsumugi -> Shiroha -> Ao -> Ryouichi -> Umi -> Kamome -> Tenzen/Nomiki
Again, Miki and Tezen are great, i just loved the others too much. Umi is great and all but i struggled fitting her in after Shiroha went from my least favourite to one of the best after Alka and Pockets...
