i quit before the credits were done because i saw that i was really close to the two hour mark (Had no intention of keeping a 40 dollar game if it was a 2 hour read.)
But yeah that was certainly the opening movie.
Are you sure? i want to belive that people aren't paying 40 dollars for a 2 hour game, but its the internet.

The game is then played by choosing a route by selecting a character. The selection screen will appear many times. Then once you get to the end of that character story you restart the game, the 2nd time it gives you an option to skip the intro (you can also use the skip button on the menu it only skips things you have read) There are 4 main character routes, once you complete all of them there is a final route that is unlocked. For me it took 10 hours to complete the first of four character routes. The final route is usually longer than a character's route but I haven't gotten that far, you can ask somebody else how long it is.
I think everyone who has read it will agree it is around "30-50" hours total.
30+ hours: About enough to complete the full game once without complete most achievements/records without skipping.
40-50+ hours: Possibly most/all achievements/records through skipping after completing the entire story once
60-70+ hours: Piecing some/most of the foreshadowed/silently told scenes through multiple replays that occur in the story which Jun Maeda intentionally hidden. Therefore, having a different interpretation of the ending. This is just the nature of open storytelling, the reader is free to interpret all the heroine endings however they like. But, Jun Maeda generally only has a one particular idea in mind and the ending is mostly tailored to that idea (yes it was mentioned he had an idea before creating summer pockets in an interview).
It is pretty funny/sad that people can say that the best part of the game are the minigames after playing at least 50 hours. Oh well, that is just my POV. And trust me steam playing hours =/= to actual time thinking and playing, or playing on a non-steam platform via the JP version.
But it doesn't matter.Now you know. : )
