wtf cant break the dam. looked at youtube videos and looks like my sling shot wont shot as hard as theirs is there a trick to? tried letting the dam thing go all the way and cutting it short. so sick of it please help

Just keep pulling the sling back until Axel is leaning back. Then let the sling go.
You will have to crack all 4 (or 5) wooden planks before the dam comes down.

I have tried that and at different positions but just cannot throw far/hard enough to hit the top ones.

I know it's an old thread but that may help someone:
My screen is set at 144Hz, i had to set it to 60Hz to be able shoot high enough.

Nice, really i don't know either, knowing that it was a game ported from the console i just tried that trick lol. I think some game mechanisms are tied to the refresh rate but i am no developer :p
