Stuck in Flight Hub

(Playing on switch) I’m leaving Havenholm to go to Valkas island and I’m stuck in the flight hub. It gives me the option to return to Havenholm or the ruins but I’m stuck and cannot move when I try to fly. I have tried to restart the game, restart play through, and pressed every button when I’m flying and it doesn’t let me move like it did with the first flight. Am I missing something or is my game malfunctioning?

When I watch people fly to valkas island on YouTube while they get the same screen it looks like they can just fly away.

Hey I know it's been a bit but in case you gave up I found this because I had the same problem. My fix was that I was trying to tap the trigger button in a wing flap sequence for a very long time to no avail. Only after I randomly held down the trigger did I realize that is how it worked.

We are sorry to hear you are having this problem. As @Moxiousman says, we have seen some players report this, and we have managed to solve it by holding down the button to fly Patch, instead of just tapping it, and they were able to get out of the flight hub.
