Items gone?

So when the butcher knocks you down, do you just lose all those items you had or does he have them hidden somewhere?

He puts your belongings in the closet at the top of the basement stairs. There’s a line hint about it when you first get the radar.

Some Items I think they despawn, I once had body parts in my inventory and got knocked down and It despawned (im pretty sure), it was missing from the closet and I searched the whole house and couldn't find it. Could be fixed by now but yea got soft locked from it

No items despawn when you are knocked out. If the lighter is in your inventory, it will be at your feet when you wake up, and if you took the butcher's key, he will put it back on his belt.

Everything else should respawn in the closet (or, in the bunker, they will respawn in the room you wake up in); if an item is missing, that is due to a bug, and you might need to reload an earlier save.
