favorite mantras?
I got through 2 playthroughs (one new game +), and I found myself using pyra a lot since the attacks are very fast. I liked aero too for similar reasons as an early game defensive option since it lets you keep distance but I started to use it less towards the end of my first playthrough.

Generally my setup was one more defensive mantra combo and the other more offensive, I wonder though if i was more aggressive it would've let me get through my first playthrough without hitting 100%...

I love the weight that the Thanatos mantra gives off. Each attack feels super heavy and powerful. Also really like Aero too since it has a longer range and is good for when I need to keep my distance from enemies.

I like thanatos but dont do very well with it when trying to get combos off. might be good for parry builds since you wont need to use it in a combo. I do put it as a secondary mantra sometimes though for a heavy attack

Yeah I, generally keep Aero as the primary and try to finish off my combos with the heavier Thanatos.

In this house we only stan Aero and rapid fire familiar. LOL.

Thantos/Aero for a mid-game build, and I'll use the default familiar/heal familiar for damage.
Either that or Thantos/Aether mantras.

The trick is to use Aero/Aether to pierce an enemy, then combo that with thantos to do big damage and kill it. I also purposely avoid any max charge level ups to make the heal familiar able to be triggered much more often. If you're playing well and landing good combos, you won't really find max charge as useful as max health, stamina or attack power
