29000 Coffee Item Broken

I purchased the 29000 Coffee item because it didn't have a bean count associated with, so I figured it was just permanently unlocking the coffee beans.

However after purchasing it, It seems I was only given 50 beans.
As you can see from the screenshot, I used it twice and now I have 48 left.

Since the 50 bean item is only 7000, what did I spend 29000 on?

Well, I haven't purchased it again, and I've actually finished and 100% the game now.
As far as I know, the problem still exists.
