About translation
I read what people wrote before and realized that the translation is bad. I think about buying this VN and I want to know a couple of things.

So they improved the translation or did not change anything?
And if nothing, then they have plans for it?
And if this is not, then is anyone going to do an improved re-translation?

Sorta late, but I guess you haven't bought it either way.
So basically this publisher has announced such plans in the past for some titles. The results of that were abysmal, so I wouldn't count on anything in regards to this title. I do seem to recall that it was noted that the price went up without any improvements, not certain on that.

Regardless, I cannot recommend anything by this company, least of all this title. It's probably their longest one. And it has chunni themes, so it's bound to be mucked up.

I sincerely hope no one makes a retranslation of this due to that it might increase SakuraGames income. Which yeah, is horrible. Their main selling point is their promotions, the games are merely the ticket to them.

Those who have a product on the forum on which they write, have a mouse icon to the right of the nickname

Yes, I did the analysis the next day and realized:
The last mention of improved translation was 28.08.2018 (just in case, made a save in the web archive link[web.archive.org])
The last update that changed the size of the game was 28.08.2018[steamdb.info]
For some reason, the price has increased 5 times in 10.10.2018[steamdb.info]
There is no English R18 patch (official or even unofficial) or even the full version on a separate site. VNDB[vndb.org] - if anyone has information about this add here or wants to see other information

I realized a long time ago that you should not trust SakuraGame (= Paradise Project), but thought maybe they wanted to fix and clear their name? It turns out nothing like this

Instead, I bought and will buy games from Sekai Project, NekoNyan, MangaGamer, JAST USA (they have just started many translations lately) - high-quality translation = respect = purchase = money = more translations

Ugh, Steam changed it so subscribe isn't automatically ticked.

Yep, that's what I went by since I believe this one isn't listed on other sale platforms? Feel like the original Devs wouldn't want it on dlsite for a much lower price than the JP release for example.

All brands have their flaws, but SakuraGame have little in the way of redeeming factors. They always make me think of money laundering lol.

Good analysis @WETER.

I'm writing a reply here since its been like a year since you posted this.

It doesn't look like anything has changed. Only things to note are that the game appears to be on 'sale' for an amount higher than the initial release cost; that they posted an announcement for another game; and explained to someone how to use simplified chinese in the INTL ver in a comment on the forums.

Seems they deleted the other posts in news and announcements I saw since last year. So, in case this one gets deleted I also web archived it:

Archive of Announcements Page [web.archive.org]

Archive of Post [web.archive.org]

This is actually disappointing. It's not like I expected anything after not checking this forum again for like a year. One month after it was released I got the feeling it was dead in the water, with no real answers to that question. A few years later is no different. But the disappointing thing is to write about improvements, and then not follow through on it. I triple down on that as I value self improvement and the strive for improvement a lot. It's a really important skill in the workplace, and for companies to commit to. Companies that don't do this won't last.

After all is said and done, I get businesses. They need to make money and want to make money. But looking at how matters have gone for this visual novel, it just looks like it was all done in bad faith, IMO. I would like to be proven wrong, but I have doubts seeing this visual novel not being updated in nearly 2 years.

Rant done.

Well, this company is not the first not the last, people just needs to check the reviews and forums so as not to be tricked. There are many companies that have lost trust

High quality and respect from Sekai Project... this is a joke, right?
