Is the MG-29 a good choice for people used to yaw-heavy combat?

Personal preference carried over from Descent:Freespace.

So far, the SV-37 is my favorite cheap fighter. 15 yaw, moves fast, first hardpoint (where the standard missiles go) seems to have double storage.

I'm looking for an upgrade and the new choice seems to be MG-29. Loses a bit of yaw, but better in nearly every other way. Has 3 hardpoints and is equally comfortable against air or ground.

Should I get this or wait for something else?
