Edit: The DLC released a year and a few months later, and apparently some people think this is a 'pwn' for critics like me. No, it's perfectly reasonable to be upset at the developer for a complete lack of communication. He could've avoided this backlash by saying as little as "coming to PC in 2024", but he refused to. Regardless, I'm happy it's finally here, at least.

I can't say I really understand the thought process behind this. As much as I adore this game, agreeing to exclusive content that's not even on PC just sounds like you're asking for trouble from the community that backed your game. Not to mention how people are now review-bombing the game demanding the devs for the content (which I would also love to see as well).

Per the update notes we will get new planes, but extra missions were not mentioned. It is understandable that Sony demanded this as it gives more incentive to buy it on PS. It would be good to know if it is a timed exclusive or not. Still disappointing because the extra planes were promised with update 1.5 and they ditched it to work on the PS version.

Honestly, Sony hits and misses the mark at the same time with this kind of move.

On one side, they get the people that end up buying the system to be able to play the new exclusive content.

On the other hand, they have people like me, who decides NOT to buy the system exclusively as a means to not support this anti-consumer behaviour.

Will my stance change anything? I don't know. What I know is that I will not buy a whole console just for a game, at least not anymore, as in the past, I was stupid enough to do that.

I have this on GOG and it seems in the end, the PC version of Project Wingman was a glorified early access for the real version on consoles.
