Project Wingman

The Unofficial Aircraft List
EDIT

FIRSTLY:
I don't plan on keeping this post up to date with near-release and post-release info. That belongs in a guide.

SECONDLY:
The following was posted in a pre-release Kickstarter update:
"On release, I’m sure genre veterans will notice the omission of some particular standards, or even aircraft that we might’ve teased prior. Simply put then: We didn't include all the planes we might've teased for reasons that we’d rather not get into, but in the future we're going to look into adding some back or providing new planes altogether. If an airframe you’re hoping to see represented didn’t get in, hold out hope and feel free to ask!"

Direct quote from developer - "a lot of the names atm are more or less treatable as placeholder since it was decided on the spot most of the time. until i can sit down and properly flesh out stuff like that throughout the dev cycle, dont take the stuff in the demo as final cut"

Planes seen on the Kickstarter silhouette lineup (left to right, with in-universe name):
MiG-29A ("NG-29A", per the Su-27's description)
Fictional Plane 1
F-4E Phantom II
F/A-18E Super Hornet ("F/E-18", F/A-18F two-seat variant also seen as an NPC plane in-game)
MiG-31 ("NG-31")
F-14D Tomcat ("F/D-14", accidentally had this listed as F-14B earlier due to faulty memory)
F-15 STOL/MTD ("F/S-15MTD")
Su-37 ("Sk.37")
Rafale
Su-57
J-20
F-22 ("UF-22")
Su-27/Su-30 ("Sk.27"/"Sk.30", both appear in-game, this is the non-canarded Su-30 rather than the fancy-pants one)
F-15C ("F/C-15")
Saab 37 Viggen ("SV-37")
Fictional Plane 2 (/aceg/ fictional design, can apparently launch 16 multi-lock missiles at the same time)
F-16C ("F/C-16")
MiG-21?

Planes not in Kickstarter lineup but appear in-game:
D/V-204 (fictional, confirmed by dev to not be based on the M-55 Geophysica)

Planes first seen in other media:
J-10
Su-25 ("Sk.25")
A-10 (complete with the memegun)

GIANT AIRSHIP DIMENSIONS
The Kickstarter has an image comparing the sizes of various large aircraft and ships, including the Anura currently encountered in-game and a Nimitz-class carrier.

The Nimitz is ~115 pixels long in the image and 1092 ft/333 m long in real life. The Anura's/Arcion's wingspan in the same image is ~109 pixels, or in the area of 1035 ft/316 m wide. It is ~47 pixels long (~49 with rear antennae), making it about 446 ft/136 m (465 ft/142 m with rear antennae).

The second airship is no wider. It is ~78 pixels long, making it about 741 ft/226 m long. This may be the "not strictly for military use" airship with green stripes posted on twitter.

The larger airship at the right of the picture, thus-far only identified as a 205-class, has a wingspan of ~189 pixels, making it about 1795 ft/547 m wide. It is not depicted in its entirety on the Kickstarter comparison image, but can be extrapolated to 69 pixels (666 ft/200 m). Its nose extends forwards. Estimated length 800-900 ft/250-275 m.

Hey, old thread, I know, haha,
but now that you can get a good look at both the airships like the Littoria class and the 205-class,
did you ever get a chance to figure out the size of the airships very accurately?
or are 226m and 547m already spot on?
