How to use flares/chaff?

Just reached the second mission, and I don't know how to use either flares or chaff. I don't even know how to equip them in the pre-mission weapon selection screen, and there doesn't seem to be a keybinding for them.

On gamepda press the L3 (press ON left stick) on keyboard you better check button configuration for yourself, it's called "SP module" and I believe it's H by default.

That's gonna be a problem, as I'm using a joystick to play the game. Specifically, it's a Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X.

Then assign one of it's buttons to this function, since this is one of the most needed.
