I hope we get a Wingman 2

I love jet fighter games and honestly out of all the ones I have played Project Wingman has been the most fun out of all of them. I found the story surprisingly compelling. I want more and I hope the devs can put out another or at least an expansion at some point.

Yea a direct sequel wouldn't really work well, a prequel would definitely be easier

Aren't you kind of curious about what happens to the Federation? They're in a very tricky situation at the game's end.

IMO, I think everyone is dead. The payment at the end was to show the irony of getting paid to do a job and now not being able to spend it because there's nothing left to spend it on. Kind of like how people can spend their whole life chasing money and once they get that money, their dying or to the point of death they cannot spend it.

From what we know of the ending, Kaiser, Stardust, and Galaxy are alive. Comic, Diplomat, Monarch and President are assumed to be alive by the Cascadians and are at large, but that might also be a front for having their end of The Deal fulfilled.

I sort of presume that Hitman Team is alive and the Cascadian government is hiding their whereabouts.

After the war, Frenken/Kaiser is heavily implied to be promoted to supreme commander of the Cascadian military, and the Federation is on the verge of collapse. While the aftermath of the second battle of Presidia definitely caused some serious damage to Cascadia, it didn't trigger another Prospero Disaster.

A lot of what was implied is that they got new ID's as well. Fan theory ending though is better.

George RR Martin will finish Fire and Ice by the time we get the update let alone a sequel.
