How does this compare to HAWX?
I used to play Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. a lot. I'm wondering if this game is similar in that it's not so much about being a realistic simulation as it is about having fun firing missiles from an SR-71 Blackbird over Chicago, for example. I also see comparisons to Ace Combat 7, which I haven't tried. Which game do you think a H.A.W.X fan would like better?

Well, you get the ridiculous amount of missiles, crazy furballs, and High-G maneuverability that HAWX has (although without the HUD assists, you just kinda do it on your own) but with more...grounded asthetic? Not to mention a wonderfully cheesy storyline that I absolutely adore

AC games take place in "Strangereal" which is our world...only different. So you'll be flying F15's MiG21's etc along with some fun prototypes, just like in this game

MagzTV is starting a VR playthrough of the campaign (yes it's still extremely playable in standard "pancake" mode, but you have the immense immersion factor of VR) and I highly recommend you check it out, as he's pretty new to it and learning stuff as he goes along, might be worth a watch for you

Either Game is Good... Either Game, you will get your moneys worth... Buy them both.
I use to play the hell out of TC's H.A.W.X. (Multiplayer) Spamming them All Aspects lol. Loved that game. All though the 2nd HAWX SUCKED BALLS! And then Ace Combat: Assault Horizon came out and was a Joke too.
Ace Combat 7 is probably the Best, Modern Arcade Dogfighting game to date.
Again Either Game is Good.
If you want MULTIPLAYER*** = AC7
But I like the Single Player in PW more

Thanks guys. I'll check out the playthrough. I'm more into single player so I'm leaning towards Project Wingman.
