How did the game do sales wise?

I hope it was a success like AC7, even without the marketing budget of Ace Combat.

As far as I'm aware, it did extremely well, for what it is. It won't have been as large a success as AC7, thanks to being on a single platform, and as you mentioned, a lesser marketing budget.

Even if the sales weren't stellar, I have yet to see anyone say they think it's actually a bad game, and most love it to bits, so I'd say it's at least a success there.
