Logitech Extreme 3D Joystick not working
It works fine in Windows, but the game doesn't detect it. Anything I can do to fix this, please?

Strange because I have it too and it works fine. Do you have Logitech Gaming Software installed (old one from 00-s)?

Tried it today, too, with no luck. Even went through Steam's controller setup where it was detected just fine. That being said I didn't try the old LGS since I have more modern peripherals that need a newer version.

Everything installed correctly, Windows detects it, Steam detects it, every other game detects it...

Right click the game name in the Steam Games library and go to Properties. Then set the Steam Input Per Game setting to Forced OFF.

I been messing with my new LOGITECH EXTREME 3D PRO for 4 hours because i had controller previously tie to this game, the way I make it work is

1) disable/hide all your controller in steam controller
2) start the game and map the buttons, you should see it show Logitech Extreme 3D buttons, not gamepad or xbox controller.
3) unhide all your controller in steam so you can use your xbox/controller to navigate through menu (maybe mouse will work?).

*your xbox/gamepad might put into sleep for no activities, just power it up again when objective finish*

KB & Mouse work fine with joystick.

you need to navigate the menus, go to axis bindings and set them yourself, also navigating with the mouse and clicking with the mouse, then do the binding.

The menus never work with the joystick. Ingame it works.

You can't assign a button if the joystick is not detected by the game. I have 2 of the LEP and neither work but do in all other games without any issues.

This is how I got my 3d pro detected, pasting from another thread:

1) Go to the game's root folder (right click on library, manage)
2) Edit the three .bat files
3) Add "-SDL2.dll" to the end of the lines for all three, save and enjoy.

So, dumb question, but since I ran into this issue myself the other day when I bought it... Did you map your joystick within the controls and keybinding settings?

I spent an hour screwing around with the windows side settings only to realize it just wasn't configured by default (which you would think that a default joystick configuration would exist in a flying game - it doesn't)

Yeah everything has to be mapped manually including the pitch and yaw movement.
