It simulates flight aka moving through the air like a bird, therefore it is a flight simulator. That is the genre definition since the early days of videogames. DCS and War Thunder on full sim are Air Combat Simulators, a sub-genre of Flight Simulators. So the tag is correct.

as long as you are flying a bloody plane it's a simulator.
Also:
This game is Australian, not Chinese. They are having the worst relationship in the past 20 years so confusing them right now is a rather bad idea.
This game came from Ace Combat fanbase and it is similar to ace combat.
Ace combat is where planes begin to have 80 missiles so it is downright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to say "If you plated AC you know no plane carries 80 missiles".

Oh and finally, War Thunder has arcade mode which isn't far for the "simulator-ness" of PW.

Well, I'd assume someone hit it with the 'Dating Sim' tag because the best part of the game is your Waifu Specialist Officer in 2-seaters. And it's probably tagged 'Realistic' because no matter how much you simp Prez with your F-4 or F-14, she ain't gonna sleep with you, and in fact, will probably take out a restraining order against you by the end of the game.
