Statistiche:
Joystick axis issue
The game is unplayable on my T16000m HOTAS. Input is totally unstable and all over the place. For example when I hold my stick half to the left instead of constant input my plane starts rolling, then stops, then suddenly rolls like hell, then stops again. It is clearly visible in ingame settings it is jumping everywhere like crazy. In every other game and win configuration it is ok. I also tried fiddling with deadzone and curve settings with no effect. Anyone else having this problem?

Hey all, this issue should be fixed in the 1.0.4C Hotfix in the beta-branch. If anyone is on the beta branch please give it a shot and let me know whether it works or not.

Sounds like it may be an issue with your joystick. Do you have another joystick you can experiment with? Mine worked fine, once I got it programmed in the game properly (even though the game didn't save my settings, for some reason).
I'm using a VKB Gladiator NXT stick. I'm also having some issues with the controls. Flying feels okay, but when calibrating my settings in the menu, the visual inputs are extremely choppy and not smooth. Like you, the input seems to jump all over the axis.
I'm using an analog hat switch for the head look and that is especially choppy in-mission.
I dug up my old Saitek ST290 pro and it is the same. Pitch and roll axis are jumping to full and zero during movement. Yaw and throttle are fine.
I'm experiencing the same issue with my Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS One. The pitch and roll axis values are all over the place when moving the stick. So far it's the only game that I've experienced this issue with that stick.
what you just described is the exact issue i have with using my xbox controller. So i decided to instead plug in my t16000m to see if the controls were any better, but i cant even get the game to recognize my hotas.. thats why im here lol anyways, probably have some patches to roll out i reckon..
FWIW, I have the non-HOTAS T.16000M flight stick, and it works fine. Can you try it without the HOTAS attached?
I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS One that has the same issues. My plane seemed to have a mind of its own, making movements when I wasn't even doing anything. Booted up ace combat 7 to verify that my hotas wasn't messed up, but it was smooth there.
I'm having the same issue with a non-HOTAS T.16000M stick. While moving the stick at all it's constantly jumping between max and zero.
Same thing here with T.1600M HOTAS. When testing the different stick axis in the menu I can see it rapidly switching from full pitch to zero like a vibrator.
No issues here. Hotas T16000M just remap the buttons and axis in settings menu.

Are there more controllers that can interfere? Disconnect them and give it a go.

I tried T16000M with and without throttle, Saitek ST290 Pro. Only one controller connected at a time of course. VR and also pancake mode. Issue is still the same :(
I hope someone already posted it in bug thread as it seems issue is not on my end and there are more of us.
gog version is borked too. I have the CH Fighterstick , Pro Throttle, and Pro Pedals. All three of them are messed up.
Same issue with pitch, roll and yaw across rudder pedals, a VKB stick and a virpil stick. All work fine in several other games- it absolutely is the game and not the hardware.
Same here with a Gladiator NXT. Yaw is ok but roll and pitch jump all other place. This behaviour is not shown in windows settings neither in SW squadrons. Plus my joystick is brand new so I don't think it comes from it. Hope it will be fixed 'cause I was unable to tweak the controls to be really efficient.
Same problem here, hope this will be fixec soon, as the game is completely unplayable
