"The VR mode for this game requires the use of a gamepad or a keyboard and mouse."
Personally, not interested in fumbling around with VR controllers when a physical joystick/HOTAS is far more intuitive and immersive.
Big brain time.
For now, being able to use your head to track enemies is enough VR to be VR, like fully tilting up to look at passing targets or being upside down and looking at the ground .
AC7 didn't have that many hotkeys for gamepad users, and AC7 is clearly what this game is emulating. I'm fairly certain they could translate those controls to VR controllers. While VR controllers aren't the optimal way to play flightsims, they should still be supported.
Of course, i would love to see this game with controller support, like Vtol VR or Flying Aces - Navy Pilot Simulator.
Anyways, if can be played fine with a gamepad is good enough...
