Novice (mouse) controls

Is there any simple way to remap all the controls to be more acecombat-esque, mouse steering and all?

I understand most questions here are about gamepad or joystick support; however, this is irrelevant to me as I'm playing with a mouse and keyboard.

Wasn't exctly pleasant when I started my first mission by immedeately crashing into ocean instead of simply accelerating. Put a sour note on my relationship with the game.

Switching on mouse aiming does not help - instead of steering it just changes the camera angle.

To reiterate, I play with neither gamepad nor stick. If it is required for playing and what I'm asking for is impossible, I'll be refunding the game.

At first place, don't waste time with novice control. It is like play basketball with only one hands.
You can play this game with mouse+kb pretty fine. If you dont like mouse aim control ala warthunder, just turn it off and set up control same as in AC7.
Boxes mouse x and mouse y keep empty.
[Pith axe] = mouse y
[roll axe] = mouse x
