Bearing finder not working

I made a bearing finder and have covered alot of area and i pull it out every 5 second but it never works. Is this not working?

You have to be walking , don’t run. Keep it out all the time and it will start beeping.

Thanks i found 1 so it is working but it took 1 1/2 hours to find 1

It gets easier once you find the first one and know what to look or listen for. I’ve had the most success in the woods away from roads, water , and poi s . Cheers
