If the icon is not displayed.
Check your firewall and other Internet security software that may block Vivox.
If the icon is displayed but there is no sound.
Check the microphone in Windows, as well as its volume in the game.
thank you
how where do we send the logs too?
but in this case, it will be more convenient if you send me
I am having the same problem.I can hear everything in game but I cannot hear other players talking in game and others can not hear me.
My mic icon pops up when I use "push to talk".
I have checked my windows settings.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled deadside twice.
I have tried the restarting my PC method many times.
any help or suggestions?
try looking into your steam chat settings. thats what i had to do. make sure everything is right. i personally only had problems with ppl hearing me. i had to use the mic on my headset for steam to talk in game because my standalone mic wouldnt work for both steam and discord. hope this helps
VOIP does not work correctly - check whether your Internet security software is blocking Vivox
How do we check for this? When I choose "Allow an app through firewall" within the Firewall & network Protection screen on Windows 10, Vivox is not listed in the applications. There is no other firewall/virus protection.
So first of all, check the microphone volume level in the Windows settings, as well as whether the audio input and output devices are correctly set there.
If there is no sound in the game, you probably need to reinstall the drivers, because in some cases, Windows updates break them.
If the microphone icon doesn't appear on the screen when you click the button in the game:
Check whether Vivox is not blocked by Internet security programs (but you probably did).
Check whether Deadside has access to the microphone. See the list of apps below.
