Base Building Access

I'm not able to access the Craft, Base-Building menu by clicking on the B key on my PC. I have a new version of Deadside and have plenty of lumber, saw, hammer, axe and nails. Please help. Thanks

In order to build a base, you need to mount a flag first.

In order to mount a flag I must first build one by accessing the Base-Building tools.

I checked my settings and Construction is set to B. Now what should I do?

You need a saw and hammer on you and you should be able to press b and then place the land claim. The claim will show as red , as you move around it will turn green once you are in an area where you can place it. Cheers

I tried pressing B while carrying a saw, hammer, axe, and wood, several times. It doesn't work. It does show a cursor on the screen, but then my character won't move. I have to press B again, then my character can move, but no Base-Building menu appears ever.

Are you seeing the crafting wheel that shows you what you can build? One of the options should be the land claim.

I am not seeing a crafting wheel. I have never seen the crafting wheel. Clicking on B does not bring up my crafting wheel. I watched the youtube video and several other youtube videos. A crafting wheel just doesn't open when I click B on my PC.

I am running out of suggestions, the last thing i think you could try is when you are pushing B, hold it down until the crafting wheel comes up. sometimes if you just push B and release it quickly the wheel doesn't come up.

Thanks for assisting me with my crafting wheel not displaying.

I've tried holding the B key down longer, but no luck. I also changed the B key to other letters, still no luck. Finally, I deleted the game and reinstalled it. The B key or any other keys still don't work to open the crafting wheel.

This has been a waste of time and money for me. Can you assist me in getting a refund for the game?

Navigate to Steam Help (help.steampowered.com) and log in with your Steam account. Find the purchase you would like to refund and click on it. If your purchase is not listed, it falls too far outside of the refund window and is ineligible for a refund. Select the problem you are having with the product.
