Game keeps Crashing. GPU issue?

Hello!
So I just bought this game to play with some friends and as soon as I load into the world, the screen goes black and the game crashes. I have it on the lowest settings for graphics. I get a pop up from my AMD Radeon software that says the graphics card has timed out.
I used to have this issue with ARK but was able to resolve it by having my glass door open on my PC and my fan blowing on it to keep the ventilation going and Graphics card cool. Now im running into the issue again and the fan isnt cooling it enough. Im still new to the Pc build community and am not sure if theres settings I can change or if i have to buy a new GPU. Its a Radeon PX 580. Its a lender until I can get a new one, but they are a pretty penny and Im kinda broke haha. Thank you for any tips tricks and help! <3

Please note that at the moment, the game is in the early access stage, so some players may face different technical issues. The team is working hard on the game polishing, so, in the nearest future, its performance will significantly improve. At the moment, here are some basic tips:
Install the latest official drivers for your GPU and sound card.
Install the latest version of DirectX
Install the latest version of Visual C ++ Redistributable
Install the latest Windows updates
Important! Set all the GPU settings to the default, using your GPU management panel (“Catalyst Control Center” or “Radeon Software Crimson” for AMD, “NVidia Control Panel” for NVidia or any other, depending on the driver version).
Make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements (Processor: Core i3 / AMD FX., Memory: 4 GB RAM, Graphics: GTX 1030 / RX 550).
