why are there hardly any boats anymore

Yeah, I bought this a couple days ago and within minutes of starting my first game, the first vehicle I found was a fanboat. I reckon I went about 2 in-game weeks before I came across another boat.

I haven't put in that kind of time since 1.0 launched but the only vehicles I have seen so far are motorcycles. Not a single boat.

Go to the middle of the ocean, click that button. Boat will spawn at some random boat spawn location. Not sure what the problem is but cool. Maybe click it like 10 times every morning or something instead idk.

Here's a test that shows all the available boats you can see the checkmarks on the shorelines are all boats.

What happens when you aren't online? No one will have any boats.

You can spawn in a boat in the morning, but that will do nothing to fix the boat spawning issue. The reason for this is that the boats despawn within 30 minutes if you are not using it. You would have to be clicking that button every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. That's simply not possible if you are human.

Your server has to provide something more than the admin spawning boats for players to want to play. Why do I know this? I am a server admin.

I'm not trying to discourage people from going there. I just think it's a silly attempt to get people to join your server. No one should join your server in hopes that you will spawn a boat for them.

You aren't listening. It doesn't matter if you spawn 1000 boats every morning

In 30 minutes, THEY WILL ALL DESPAWN.

They will then be replaced with other vehicles as if you never spawned them in the first place.

This is not a problem that you can fix by brute force. The developers need to fix it.

This is not a problem that you can fix by brute force. The developers need to fix it.

I have the time to keep an eye on it and keep it going every few hours like 5 at the most. Most of the time I can check on it and renew it every 30 minutes to an hour. Yes the developers need to fix it, but in the meantime might as well do what I can.
