I dont care if the AI are dumb but being dumb + being able to spot and chase you from 1000 meters is ridiculas
They are averaging 3800 players on weekdays and close to 5k on weekends, and it's increasing daily. So plenty of people are playing it and having a blast.
For the military bots use cover and snipe them while they stand in the open. Never let them get close unless you are cleaning up a mission in CQB.
I didn't really notice it before 1.0 but now it happens a lot. I've been at the airport and I pull up to a structure, get out and....surprise!! They spawn in.
Yes.. this
This seems to be a fairly common trend in games these days.. This is how they 'optimize' AI, so they there aren't a million on the map at once. Well, the problem with this is obvious. It's incredibly annoying for all the players when AI spawn 50m in front of you in your direct line of sight. Your walkie-talkie doesn't even work in those instances and it removes stealth and sniping from the game almost entirely.
I'd rather take 5fps less and have believable AI than this broken spawning BS that developers keep pushing out.
