Turrets just made this game trash for me
Hit my first bunker after doing about 30 cases solo. Turrets are in a position you cant even shoot them or throw grenades without dying. Lost my body in a spot thats not even retrievable. How you gonna place a turret behind the entry door that shoots your feet killing you when you cant even hit it proned out. bought DLC was was going to buy the rest. Ill try this game again in a few years and maybe the issue will be fixed.

I also thought the same way as you, I died and lost my body (irrecoverable) but I learned by dying, to learn I went with little material, I learned how to make a bunker and I think it's easy. At the moment I don't even have time to make a video but I've already thought about making the video and sharing it.
bunkers are easy to tackle - all you need to do is farm dynamite from airdrops beforehand. Throw a dynamite sometimes two or very occasionally three and it will take out turrets in bunkers no problem. The other tactic - which is trickier, is run across room and get behind or below it and empty several mags into it, BB19 is ideal for this - but you must be fully armoured and full health to try that. The explosives charge with a detonator is also pretty good in this scenario and also for ones above you on a door. Finally - make sure you have a ton of bandages - you can use rags - but bandages are way better.
Oh and of course always have a sleeping bag or two deployed nearby.

All that said - it does mean the final cost in resource in taking out bunkers is probably borderline for what you actually gain.

It should only take one clip, and possibly some odd change in bullets if you miss a few shots. However, boom is super easy to get all over the airstrip.

I personally believe their bunker system is terrible. It should be scrapped entirely and replaced with someone players actually want to do.
