Not true for me. I have no problems upgrading, disassembling, adding or making any changes to my base.
I think either you're bugged or it's user error.
Then IDK what is going on... I dont get the "G" to disassemble
All I did was:
1st. Select Hammer
2nd Press down assigned key to open the build wheel.
3rd Select green arrow on top of wheel
4th look at selected item to disassemble (In this case was a wall with door and a windowed wall).
5th Press down the key that is displayed for disassemble.
6th Look surprised because this wall was supporting several other walls above it that you wanted to remain intact but were just now destroyed.
7th Finish the mumbling sounds you're making and cut branches to start building those walls again.
Not sure why some don't see the "disassemble" prompt unless they're leaving out one of the steps. But, yes, you can disassemble even after 15 minutes.
No Raid, yes.
PvE, yes.
Some areas too close to roads or other boundaries prevent from building above foundation , but you have to plant it to find that out .
However if plank or metal , save up dynamite or C4 and you basically raid your own base. It spawns the red circle so it'll be obvious as this only pertains to pvp servers . It has a 1 to 2 minute rebuild timer per section exploded. I'm not sure if the time is increased per wood / metal as I only tried on the wood plank build.
Works well for locks that lock you out due to messed up code input .
It would work out better if it didn't expose you to getting raided by giving the raid notice / timer . Having an under repair option would probably be exploited . Though there's probably some 7 day timer limits laying around that could be implemented .
That makes since for the PVP. Thats good to know. Thanks.
