Where the hell do you find this stuff? Been in construction sights, bunkers, towns...and not one. Is there an area where they tend to spawn more?

I haven't seen much of that either. I'm guessing maybe in the bunkers and military areas.

You can make sheet metal from metal planars

official or private server?
how many playing there?
officials defaults arent bad, u should find in construction sites, houses barns sheds here n there, but privates whoTFknows their loot settings.
and anyways they finally listened about water, dont bother the old pos water collector never was enough an still aint now., but wells everywhere full all the time, and reduced thirst shortly after 1.0 in a hotfix, I believe it was 20% less thirst, actually for me now... food is harder than thirst. owell...

get a metal planer in your base and use guns to get sheet metal, polyethylene it's fairly easy to find, every easy mission and medium mission i do i find 1 or 2 at least

yea use metal planer look for pile of scrap metal and rebars then turn them into sheet metal.

I'm on an official server and I must be unlucky then. I can find 2-4 sheet metal at most construction sights, but the polyethylene I might find one an hour if I'm lucky.

I usually find several rolls at the hangers at the airfield.

i find loads of it lazurny or yantar are very good spots for it

sheet metal you can make in base with metal planer and scrap
pretty much most metal objects will feed into it and yield one sheet metal - gun, axe, shovel, helmet, vest etc
rebar also

I've been running the construction sites today for about 5 hours with a couple supply drop runs and got 1 polyethylene. 2 days of about 8 hours total and I have 3 lol.

not just construction sites, barns houses all kinds of sheds, but i find 2 inside (or sheet metal) on a pvt server in a crumbled house nearby.
also a scrap metal pile there, look for those.
and on officials there must be alot o people running down that same thing/s.
officials have a decent default, but dont be afraid to try some boosted loot privates an get the stuff to build everything an have a nice base, but I dont bother the water collector anymore all wells are full and youll soon learn where they are
