Brick and cement

I like the look of the new brick walls but c'mon devs. I've spent 7 hours searching the map and I've only found 1 reliable spot for cement or brick spawning. I went around the map to warehouses, factories, red brick building sites etc and all I find is piles of cement or brick that can't be looted. I've made a handful of walls out of brick but now I can't even finish it because I need as much cement to upkeep the base as I do to keep building.

Don't you think the more you go up in tier the more durable your base should be not just blast proof. When you get to brick the decay should become non-existent for the most part. Not my base starts decaying after 5 or 6 hours. This is starting to become a chore which is why I never play Scum anymore.

Base decay is avoided buy putting supplies in the base storage unit. Mine is currently set at 55 days. I'll add more cement as I go to increase that length

I'm well aware of that. I've been searching for 3 days and I have enough cement for 21 days. That's about 10 hours of exploring for cement. You must have a small brick base. Mine is not huge, but half decent size. It's only bricked on the front and back. Brick should last forever.

they want you to build small, because they want people to raid bases. so they have to keep base raiding easy.

i would never ever build a base on a pvp server. it's much more fun to destroy them. but since more and more people are fed up with the new base raiding concept, there is not that many bases to raid.

I play on a pve server. Why am I being punished so PVP people can raid?

I have been able to find brick piles but they definitely don't respawn at the rate the scrap metal piles do. I checked the quarry yesterday and there's three piles there by the rail cars. I checked constantly all day and two of the piles only respawned one time in a 9 hours.

Bricks are not a problem for me. There are big piles of them. Cement is a bit sparse and only two locations that I raid frequently and shown in my screen shots above.
