But yes, it would be cool to have more variety in armor and gear. Having only the 1 single helmet cuz it offers the head protection to the full head is derpy.
yes but this is a video game and since there is no wound/limp/incapacitation system I think it is much more balanced this way... offering much more dynamic and realistic gameplay. Body armor is made to save your life, it doesn't make you invincible just because a bullet can't penetrate your armor. if you take 3 shots in the chest even if you are wearing an assault vest I don't think you would still be there shooting as if nothing happened in real life.
but still the point was: We look like a flock of astronauts better equipped than an army in a game that's supposed to be a survival game... we're all equipped the same way because you have no reason to wear a bulletproof vest that offers less protection or to use the smallest backpack once you find the top tier gear....
