AWKWARD VIDEO SETTING

Greetings, I am having a strange video issue.

I used to have a 34" ultrawide, so I played in 3440 so forth and so on. I didnt much care for how many games didn't support ultrawide. Moving to 4k 1920 the mouse cursor is off in the main menu by an inch down and 0.5 inches to the right. When I move to settings, this becomes 4.5 inches to the right and 1 inch down. As i move further down the screen, the further off the cursor is. Thus I cannot change the settings at all, "tabbing" to a selection does not work. Using a controller does not work, thus the game is not playable for me. Any suggestions"

Things I have done
uninstalled and reinstalled (no change)
uninstalled, closed steam, reinstalled (no change)
opened in big picture mode (no change)
changed resolution in big picture mode for the game to 1920 (no change)

as it stands, I cant play and thats very lame. Thanks for the help (hopefully)

Try and delete the games config folder, located here...

C:\Users\ ????? \AppData\Local\Deadside

Just delete the entire "Deadside" folder itself.

It sounds like the game is using your old config for when you had the ultrawide. So you're basically locked out of the game as it's trying to display something your new monitor doesn't support.
