I too am having a problem, at least in Dayz the only grinding was walking.
It’s very disheartening that you do a days worth of work only to coming back online to a half standing building and seen no pvp or had a chance to defend the base. All that time gathering for nothing.
Just let the game go. Besides the map extension the game is trash compared to how it was in older versions with raid tokens, gun play, sounds, etc... obviously the change in management steered the game in the wrong direction
But having a general point-system for respawning, which probably is also used for other important stuff, is nothing most people like and is making the game handling bad.
