I mean I just came back and hopped on a solo server and after 4 drops I got both + ammo and stalker packs + assault gear......
within 2 hours mind you...
so yeah....needs to be elite worthy drops in my opinion.....but hey sucks for the server right?
I reckon in comparison to like Rust or something I guess FacePunch should put m249's in air drops and L96's again.
Buhhhhhhhhhht guess what they changed it. To where at best if I remember you get an LR-300 out of it and a low % of an c4 vs Satchel charge and just basic pick me up n go pvp loot.
It's called item balancing. Don't know if you're referring to yourself as a player who bought the game and feel like it isn't necessary but hey guess what I bought the supporter pack too for these devs! and guess what!
iT nEeDs To Be BaLaNcEd. Shooo troll.
Secondly i agree. Airdrops are OP if you consider the fact there are no AI protecting it.
Dont take that away from me XD
I'll use Rust again as an example:
1). Rust air drops do not drop rocket launchers nor rockets of any sort.
2). You can get the grenade launcher...from the air drops in Deadside...like how does that not compute? I would expect a % drop for that gun based off of elite missions or any end game loot content that is supposed to be deemed "challenging" to obtain.
Also that's another problem I've noticed in this game whether it's high pop or not. I very rarely come across those risking the air drops in the game even though they were changed to instant loot vs. the old wait and open.
Must be me then that finds it unbalanced then. Like I'm glad they changed the scopes n ammo in the basic vendors so people don't go walking around with x8 scope or w/e on early guns in such. That's balancing. I didn't say take out ALL the guns n stuff. Just keep it in a medium spectrum so it doesn't offset the snowballers. Like I use Rust as an example because it's literally the best way to describe the balancing factor of the issue. Before in Rust the air drops had a chance to drop AK's and L96's. Not only did they nerf the damage on the L96's (which now I'm content with) but they dropped the % rate of them on top of how they are obtained.....which is a small % via locked crates and Bradley APC. Those two features are literally "end game" methods to obtain said L96 (along with the heli but I rarely get them to drop from heli).
Y'all get it now?
High powered weapons = High tier looting venues.
Fresh spawn on a server yesterday, not extra gear, not kit provided. Saw a drop, no-one else on so I ran for it, got there, no bp and nothing of note and no room for me to take any of it. Saw another drop, run to it, as well, same ordeal. After five drops, still nothing of note, nothing I couldn't find if I was just searching towns & villages. Logged off.
Notice more cheat videos coming out unveiling the widespread use for them . $$$$$
I suspect if a DRM Digital Rights Management isn't put in place for game programs , this very well will become escape from jagoff lite .
Maybe you might like games like Scum where you can manipulate settings of how you run your game program experience ? Perhaps if Deadside goes with a DRM release we all won't be subjected to what others have in mind for us .
There have already been nerfs to game content and who can we thank for that ? If the developers stick to a benchmark of their original design without watering down content there should be a wider range of play ability .
More options would be better , gain more appreciation from the demographic audience , add more respect for the designers . Or don't ~~~~~~
Homie chill I'm just trying to get end game loot out of a damn mediocre obtainable. Case is closed. People rather have end game loot chance in an air drop than work for it as a squad/soloist. Done n done.
Uhm......what? Air drops didn't change, nor do I think you understand the concept I'm getting at but ya I guess? since I made a post about it?
