Will there be a South African Server?

I made contact with them on Facebook today regarding the same issue, no answer. I don't think it will ever happen, otherwise it would have had happened already.

It makes it virtually impossible to play, high ping and rubber banding.

Gents ,The only way there will be a SA server is if guys like us hosted one and we all know that we dont currently have the money to support something like that.

We had a server that we as community rented, server still based in EU so it doesn't make sense to rent one if it is still based in the EU, that server lost support due to ping issues. But we will rent if we have a South African option to host it here.

Just to give you some info, Miscreated have 2 official server here in South Africa. When Scum launched we asked the Devs for a Local server in South Africa, they replied there you go enjoy the three servers, that was quick, if i remembered right it was about a week from launch, they haven't released the server files but then you don't have to, because we can still enjoy the official servers as long as the ping is low. So the player base is obviously enough to support this, otherwise they wouldn't have hosted here. As everyone know, South Africa is big in gaming.
