Question about PVP/PVE

I'm going to ask a probably dumb question, but is there any way to opt-out of the PVP content and just play the PVE content? Many hybrid PVP/PVE games have an opt-out feature, but I can't tell on the store page whether this one does.

technically you can avoid pvp by playing in low population servers, but still if you go to military bases there is a good chance you will pvp, except if you are the only one on the server

Maybe in the future. As in future I mean soon, since the next update they are focusing on will be admin tools etc on private servers.

"Just go to dead servers, because the game's got them" isn't really a great selling point, tbh. I'm not looking to jump into a server and pleading with other players not to kill me, only then to get trolled again and again by the community. I've seen games like this. Which is why I'm hoping for a specific opt-out option, such as what games like GTA Online have been offering for years now.

I have not come across toxic people in this game, it is funny in general and quite easy to gear up if you know where to go. And at no stage my previous comment was meant to troll, i just gave that option as the only way i could think that someone can experience no pvp as opting out of it is not an option in the game and do not think it will be. Sorry if it came across differently.

Apologies on my end if I came off as overly hostile towards you or the game. I just don't want to buy into the game, only to then have to refund it because I can't play it optimally. Also when I referred to being trolled, I meant in-game by spawncampers and such, not you here. Relax, you're fine.
