Not a bad idea! Honestly surprised that people don't suggest this more often. I'm sure the team has thought about adding it in the past, but its not exactly a high priority feature, at least compared to the other things we are working on. I'll remind the guys about it
I usually do this as well in games without toggle lean. One big upside to it is you also free up Q and E for whatever suits you best.
Escape From Tarkov has press - hold - release - double click
Sprint toggle?
Walk toggle?
Lean toggle?
ADS toggle?
And while we're at it. Please get rid of mouse scroll wheel weapon swap. The vast majority of shooters have done away with this control scheme for a reason. Please adopt Escape From Tarkov's movement scheme. Add a few more movement speeds and use the scroll wheel to cycle through them. It will make your game better. IE...
Walk (Caps Lock)
Fast Walk (Mouse Wheel)
Shuffle (Mouse Wheel)
Jog (Mouse Wheel) - default
Sprint (Left Shift)
It doesn't have to be as complex as EFT, but it would help your player base control their characters way more accurately.
Developers that are not willing to add the simple option to toggle walk or lean based off of player feedback.. should not expect players to continue to play their game.
Yes, this would be ace. More control options are better IMO.
