I am not bagging on the quality of the gameplay or the development process, but this game seems like it needs a lot more work to feel fluid and look natural. It just has a look of being made completely from top down premade assets- all the assets couldve been made by the Devs, but it just looks like there was no vision in making them, just typical looking survival items, animations, and characters.
Im not alone in this opinion.
It feels like it was "Hey lets just make a better survival game." Which isnt exactly the best creative process.
I see that after watching some videos...ill still stick with tarkov. This game doesn't bring anything new to the table, OP is right that this is an asset flip.
lol the scam WarZ/infestation/whateveritscallednow had safe zones and the rest of that crap almost a decade ago. I don't see anything innovative in this game. Instead I see a typical early access cash grab where people will fervently defend the broken mechanics and lack of content with the "it's not finished yet" excuse ...for years.
support your hobby industry.
If there is zero innovation, zero consumer advice taken, zero criticism - we get games like this that wont amount to anything besides what we've already seen.
Walk into a building and you are suddenly geared. Reminds me of battle royale.
Throw in a traders post and now you have this weird battle royal survival game where items are everywhere. The whole point of these games is to also incooperate good pve related content where peeople will feel like they are accomplishing something outside of PVP. Farming and such plays a key role.
WHY even call this a survival game. Looks more like a FPS shooter.
The weapon mechanics remind of a nerf gun, and something you would hear off throwing a pop rock at the ground.
God I miss H1Z1 Elite gameplay of PVP and PVE related content. Could farm for days and have so much fun. there was an element of gameplay for every style of player
You never liked a food, or drink? Well lets see YOU make it better. F-uckwits.
