This game isn't nearly as free as it looked before I bought- have to decorate the houses a certain way, have to arrange then a certain way, etc
I'm still having fun, but this is a valid complaint. I wouldn't call Littlewood a sandbox, but it sure is painted up as one.
that is pretty hardcore. i am not sure how i would manage knowing i was locked out of completing the game or raising several of my stats or getting some of the townfolk
see, now i wish this game had a modding community(or even just the creator being around). i've dabbled in this sort of thing with stardew valley and i'd be more than willing to work with someone who knew the code on it x___x
I've been looking at reddit and apparently the game does not support mods, it is necessary to inject the changes on the main code. I don't know the code but I know how to code, then let me know when you start to develop the mod, I would be happy to help.
Well, I,m developer, but I don't have much idea how to make mods.
Having Willow tag along is entirely optional and the only person that bangs on about how you used to be with her is Dudley, which is on point for an old guy personality. You're not forced to rush gaining hearts with her, she's just used as a tutorial for the mechanics of the game.
She was clearly in love with you before you lost your memory so i find her behaviour and wanting to be near you fitting, also it's 16 squares, you can put her a fair distance away and still satisfy the want.
But the game can improve in that aspect, for example after the wedding with Dalton the relationship with the townsfolks increased dramatically, which made an event with Willow and Dalton jump the next day, where she says that we get along very well, even showing intentions to start a love relationship. I think that at least those events should be avoided if a wedding has already taken place, another solution is to use alternate events.
I also think some of her daily dialogue and some of Dudley's regarding the hero character and her should be altered post dating/marriage of another townsfolk. It seems kind of inappropriate for them to keep bringing up the special relationship you used to have before the hero's amnesia after that point.
I remember Bubsy making a horrible comment about Dalton, since then I never spoke to him again.
