The initial game system requirement doesn't state that this game is 64-bit.
Will the devs do something to support us or will they ignore it?
I feel pretty much betrayed if they keep silent about this.
If you're using GNU/Linux, then I'd recommend forcing the Proton layer. In this case, there's a chance the Windows 32-bit binary might still be available.
I still use the good old 32 bit win 7 pc so I guess it can't be helped.
The only way I can continue plaing this game is to borrow my friend's laptop.
The point is, having an old computer isn't the problem here.
I can play stardew valley and many other great games on it, why can't this game?
The system requirement didn't / still doesn't say it's 64 bit exclusive.
Even if the devs want to change it to 64bit and throw people like me out, they should have made a proper announcement instead of quietly doing things/ ignoring complains.
My conclusion from this: I will hold back from buying Early Access game from now on.
According to Steam's public data collection, <0.5% of accounts are not running a 64-bit OS.
