I've read that Unity engine has dropped support for 32-bit Linux. Recently the dev switched Littlewood to a new Unity version. It might have something to do with it.

Then what will happen to players that only have 32-bit PC like me? :(
The initial game system requirement doesn't state that this game is 64-bit.
Will the devs do something to support us or will they ignore it?
I feel pretty much betrayed if they keep silent about this.

You can check to see if your CPU supports Intel64 or AMD64 in BIOS. I've had computers with 32-bit OS pre-installed that had CPUs that supported 64-bit ISA. Not sure what OS you're using, but I do know from experience that W10 will refuse to install 64-bit ISA onto some older Intel64 computers.

If you're using GNU/Linux, then I'd recommend forcing the Proton layer. In this case, there's a chance the Windows 32-bit binary might still be available.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ man, how are you still on 32bit?

Thank you everyone for answering my question.

I still use the good old 32 bit win 7 pc so I guess it can't be helped.
The only way I can continue plaing this game is to borrow my friend's laptop.

The point is, having an old computer isn't the problem here.
I can play stardew valley and many other great games on it, why can't this game?
The system requirement didn't / still doesn't say it's 64 bit exclusive.

Even if the devs want to change it to 64bit and throw people like me out, they should have made a proper announcement instead of quietly doing things/ ignoring complains. :steamsalty:

My conclusion from this: I will hold back from buying Early Access game from now on.

You sure you don't have a 64-bit CPU and can just install a 64-bit OS?

According to Steam's public data collection, <0.5% of accounts are not running a 64-bit OS.

yeah I had the same issue. Usually I would try to use and older version of the game. I did that with crusader kings 2, but I couldn't do that with this one. And to people that wonders why someone is still using a 32bit computer my answear is that I am poor and I live in poor country lmao

If you ask the developers directly they might be be able to make a branch available for people who wish to use the 32-bit version.
