Umm so is this game like harvest moon games or is it more animal crossing?
So i'm not really sure if i would like this game you see i like games that have lots of unlocks that then can unlock even more stuff but one big thing is i like the stuff that unlock to do "something" like take animal crossing most of the stuff does nothing other then look nice and i am fine with some items doing that but animal crossing often feel like 90% of items are there for looks i'm more a fan of 25%-35% of items being for looks the rest are used to play the game.

Think of it more as you need to work on the placement of buildings/decorations/etc. To make these items, you must collect various items in the game. You develop relationships with the people in the town. You get daily crops, trees, fish, and bugs to harvest, as you grow higher.

Now, all buildings are upgraded by tier, 3 tiers per. Some are simply homes that need decor to advance them, to the carpenter's shack where you get to craft all manner of goodies. Somethings only unlock from certain characters under certain conditions.

To wrap this up, I would say it has the better parts of Animal crossing for relationship/ interaction, the planting and harvesting of a Harvest moon game; lastly you need to design for beauty, and getting around just like in an RTS (Star Craft, Command and Conquor, etc"

I was hesitant at first when I bought the game. Great support boards, friendly guy in charge, who is still updating the game. Plus he has boards to discuss how the game should advance and such.

I would said a great deal of the unlocks are needed to advance in on regard or another. The biggest exception from that would be the items bought from the Decor Shop, none of those are -needed- as far as I remember, but do a good bit of leg work for decorating your town with different paths and things.

But nearly all the other furniture you'll need at least once to fulfill villager requests which give you bigger impacting items, like whole new stores or tools.

I think of it as a mix of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing with streamlined mechanics. So you've got cooking, fishing, building, friends, and more, but it's not a chore to do. This makes the game fun and engaging, and the elements come together very well, but it doesn't become a job.

This is a good comparison.

It's essentially the 'busy-work' of Stardew Valley with many Animal Crossing mechanics thrown in too but it really is it's own game and is fun to play, if not a bit grindy.
