Romance after full hearts?

So I absolutely love the romance aspects added to the game. I maxed out all of Bubsy's hearts today and finished all the set dates, cool cool, but... now it's in a bit of an awkward position where all the dialogue is still the same as before I ever started flirting. And I can no longer flirt with him, or ask him on dates. I can't even kiss him. And now I'm just in a rush to get the wedding ring to see if things will change afterwards, which is a little stressful.
I'm just wondering if this is supposed to be intentional or not - and I feel like I'd be good if things actually felt different with the characters once you reach maximum hearts, even if you're not married.

Oh that is a good idea, I will add more dialogue for when you're at max hearts but before you've popped the question!

It would be cool to see more dialogue in general. After the first or second season the characters starts to repeat lines all the time, so something like lines based on seasons or simply more lines of dialogue would be great.

I'm glad to hear it! I've already popped the question now in game, so that just gives me another excuse to replay from start later on.

In the short term, an easy fix would be to continue to allow the Flirt option with people you are at maximum hearts with even though it isn't doing anything mechanically.

It feels strange to abruptly go to only having the Compliment option with people you have the most hearts with but still having the Flirt option with people you have less hearts with.
