I have been playing normally all morning but I just opened the game and everything is fine until you load the save file. Then it opens to a blank screen with the character and if you run right or left you eventually see everyone and the things inside their houses but there is nothing else. It's just like all the stuff in empty space.
A (hopefully small and cosmetic) bug:

When I build Ash's house, there's no smoke coming out of his chimney and entering it for the first time doesn't have him walking in to thank you. I'm not sure if this is a minor or major bug that'll affect something anything later on.

EDIT: also read that Ash is having relationship points / dialog bug going on. Guess this character's bugged.

Stumbled on a bit of a wedding day bug. After waking up on the day of the wedding, I decided to check out the item shop beforehand and found the last item I needed for upgrading the museum. Overexcited, I decided to just run up and do that real quick before going to the wedding. However, when I interacted with the upgrade option, the Married achievement popped, the screen went black and the ending credits started to roll. I was able to shut down and restart to see the actual wedding event, but I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.
I've played for 15 hours (loved every minute of it). I put the game down in November. Launched it today and my save file is gone. I only have the option to create a new file. What happened and what can I do to restore my save??

Bug Report --> +1 above. After updating Steam, my save file won't get picked up by the game, even though it still exists in the Save File location (and is downloadable on Steam).
On Mac, saved while in house, closed computer very shortly after quitting the game on last play. No changes to Littlewood location.

When looking for save files in the game, is it coded as a relative or absolute path? Maybe the update to Steam somehow moved the location of the application so that it can't find ~/Library/Application Support/com.SmashGames.Littlewood anymore via the path provided?

Edit: Starting a new game confirmed that something is wonky with the save file location. My `games0.json` file is untouched at ~/Library/Application Support/com.SmashGames.Littlewood, but I do definitely have a new game saved somewhere. Confirmed that the new save path is ~/Library/Application Support/SmashGames/Littlewood! Moving `games0.json` into that new folder had it show up :)

Ok, following this person's fix makes my save file show up again! It seems as though the file path just broke or something. Glad to have it back!!!!
Opened up the game and my save file is completely gone! It's just discouraging to lose all the effort I had put into it. Probably will restart the game later on just not now though ://
Hi, after 14 hours of game (I really liked it) it seems that all my data aren't there anymore and all I have access to is to create a new game... :(
Havent played for a month and now my 20 hr save file is simply gone :c kinda frustrating
Also having decor store glitches. It wasn't loading new furniture for a couple of days, so I bought everything to try and reset it. It's now sitting empty since then.

THANK YOU, so much! I was so upset that my game was gone, but this fixed it. Thank you so much!
If you fail to sleep in the transition of the season winter to spring, the scenario keeps white like winter, had to close the game and reload, sleeping after didn't work.
Game file lost after steam update D: Love the game, a bit upset though!
well i last played in august and then the update around then lost my entire game file, including deleting all my steam achievements.. im still not over it
I finished two quests and when I accepted the rewards the first one would've given me the chests that spawn around town, but I clicked both of them too fast and it didn't give me any chests.
small little thing, but the mysterious visitor that trades for dark matter is on a layer above the player even when youre standing in from of them! the bottom of the visitors sprite ends up covering the top of my players sprite just a little bit
