Hmm, might be a bug. You could always try rebuilding them and see if that works.

Yeah, the pasture should hold the matching animal type in that area.

Thank you to the two people who responded. I found out that I am a doof, and that I had the wrong pasture for the wrong animal. That is why it was not working! :)
