Day 401.... still no gold carrots or perfect slimeapples.

Is anyone else having this problem? I have maxed out farming and have the proper statues, but still nothing! I understand they are rare but this is to much. Is this a bug or am I just unlucky?

I got slime apples on like day 4, carrots around there as well so something is wrong. Are you talking to all the residents?

I believe your town starts with slime apple trees aswell, have you pick them.

I have slime apples and carrots. I am talking about "perfect" slime apples and gold carrots. I have yet to find any.

Have you build the special decoration statues that makes them spawn? Hanging out with an NPC usually seem to help as well. Good Luck!

I have built the special decoration statues. I will try hanging out with an NPC to see if that works, but I am sure I have done that before..... I will try again.

I've planted one of each crop/tree and planted the rest as carrots and slimeapples. I forget what year I'm on but I've gotten 3 of each, pretty sure both with and without NPCs hanging out with me. I do think it'd be fun if hanging out with Dalton increased your chance of finding perfect slimeapples.

Out of 351 days in game play time I have only found one perfect slimeapple which I immediately donated to the museum. It's very frustrating because I have a cow that won't stop asking for one but I just can't find another!

It's incredible rare, but I did manage to get one of each

I got a golden carrot the first day after I constructed the carrot statue. It took several weeks for the perfect slimeapple, though. You don't need to max out your farming or gathering...I'm pretty sure it's just RNG, because both of my farming and gathering are pretty low.

I would advice to you to do the following. Destroy all patched for farming, and do the same with statue. Go sleep and on the next day, rebuild the statue and all farming spots with carrots.
Do the same with slimeapples. i believe that in around 4 full harvests you should have alteast one of each. I got 8 (p) slimeballs and 7 (g) carrots and I just finished my 3rd year in.

Wow! I can"t believe this thread is still going. So, an update, I finally got some golden carrots by planting a bigger patch of them, still no perfect slime apples though. I will try sepirot55's idea. Thank you to everyone who responded and tried to help.

yeah they're just rare af once you've built the statue

i went several in-game weeks before getting a golden carrot with a full count of 24 plants, and i got a perfect slimeapple from the forest when i harvested a single tree

now i'm swimming in gold carrots but need more perfect slimeapples

Im around day 300 and something and still nothing of either of those -.- These should not be so hard to get.
