Custom Controls + Controller Remapping

Hey all! I just wanted to say that custom controls and controller remapping will NOT be implemented for this initial build (6/18).

You can expect it to be added in the next build, though!

Right now the controls are

Confirm: Space
Cancel: CTRL
Run: Shift
Movement: WASD Keys

Currently there is controller support! I've been using the Xbox one controller but I haven't done much testing with other controller types.

Custom button remapping is a high priority because I want you to be able to play any way you want. Please give me a few days to add it into the game. Thank you for your patience!

Any update on this? You said "a few days" but it's been a bit over a month. Only just started playing this game today and my one and only complaint so far is the utterly bizarre control scheme.

A few days? I bought the game over a year after that statement and still no remap option. Why not add to the game description "Left-Handed gamers not welcome!" At least it would be more honest than "Just give me a few days to sort it!"

I just got the game and after over a year there's still no key remapping?
As someone with an AZERTY keyboard, this is highly annoying and makes it so I can't play at all..

Yep, super disappointed. More AZERTY users than QWER but whatever. I'll just alt+shift I guess, but it'd be nice if you could do something about it.

I honestly refunded the game solely for this reason. Bummer, it looked really nice.

Had I known this I wouldn't have bothered buying it. Guess I'll refund it then. Kind of weird that a dev doesn't know non-qwerty keyboards exist.

Well I mean, just activate any Qwerty-based language setting, it's already built-in Windows it takes like twenty seconds.

is this still not implemented? i want to remap the controller buttons because for some reason square is confirm and x is back/cancel (ds4 controller) and i can't for the life of me adjust to this

custom controls are the literal only thing keeping me from buying this game. i have been waiting a few months now for reconfigs but i fear that has stopped being a priority and my hands will not allow me to safely play with the current controls
