Black screen always

I got ATONE a few months ago and finally I got to try it today. Windows 10, nVidia 2060 SUPER, 32GB and tons of space, rarely any problems with hundreds of games tried.

After some settings adjustment I go to "credits" and I get a black screen where nothing responds - keyboard, gamepad, anything but Alt+F4.

I reenter the game, go to start a new game, same black screen. I thought I might fiddle with settings. Reenter, disable VSync, and I get the first cutscene, fix the instrument and go around talking to people and readin books. I finally go to bed, but again black screen.

More playing with settings didn't fix. I have never seen the credits, always black screen. Always black screen when going to sleep. Changed res from 4k to 2k, changed full screen to windowed, nothing else I can change. Nothing works.

I go to AppData/LocalLow and delete the Untold Tales folder, restart the game. Now the game starts in a window at 4k. Without touching any settings, I try to start a game, black screen. Disable VSync, black screen. Can't start the game again. Can't do anything else, I think.

Any ideas?
