Really promising but hard to get into

This is what VR is about for me, but I have a hard time getting into the game because I don't really know how to navigate beside selecting random planets I see.
Is this game even getting any more updates? Would be a shame if not.

This game is absolutely getting more updates! Exoplanet has been rebranded into Project Coreward.

Project Coreward is getting a release in mid January.

Meanwhile, I pushed a new build of Exoplanet as a free demo for Project Coreward. Check your steam downloads the next time you log in.

As for the navigation troubles, the game comes with a set of built in tutorial videos. I'd say watch Navigation parts I and II (they're pretty short.)

It mostly sounds like you need to use the waypoint system found in the Navigation / Captains menu. Also, look for the green notification style dots in your menu's. They'll give you tips.
