Edit: and i do personally hope there's DLC coming
Also thanks I haven't played titan souls yet and now it's certainly going on my wishlist.
Just a reference. Devs are being cheeky.
This concept of "Truth" is the goal of "life" or meaning.
It was the constant reference in Full Metal Alchemist.

I don't think the Devs are trying to develop a philosophical argument as the games are cheeky.
This anime writer is clearly depicting Islam and Christianity in the cartoon and "truth" albeit a being in this cartoon - is the idea that once you know everything and how everything works you are a defacto "god" by all rights. Priests and religious figures through this anime that also contains "truth" are all basically evil and suffer from avarice which is the reference in this game as well (as each time you go in front of a mimic chest you get to do a challenge for more power). Sins are also put forth in the cartoon and I don't see any real references beyond greed in this game. Although the idea may be the same "truth" seeking is a theme in lots of depictions and works. Full Metal Alchemist and this game contain very very similar ideas of the eye and the door.
The Eye of God is a common theme in various store-telling as well as "gates" or "doors" that lead to a variety of places. These are found in Egyptian culture and Roman/Greek.

Carrying truth out of its prison just means to spread knowledge.
The Raven flying away is the idea here.
Common understanding in modern societies is freedom of information and the more we as a whole understand and are informed the better the decisions we can make for the greater good. The more money, power, and knowledge is restricted to 'few' the more likely you will end up in autocracy or despot. This is of course unfortunate from anyone under this kind of rule and a detriment to all of mankind.

We as a human society had our dark ages and our renaissance (the coming out of the dark ages) so it is good to understand the idea of history and not to repeat it. Leaving the power in the hands of the few is very bad as often - power begets corruption hence the Lord of Doors.

Mosses Crow.
Here's the animatic that plays, for reference:

EDIT: OK, I see now. I misinterpreted the last lines of text. They aren't saying our character did something we haven't experienced, they are saying this is what our character is doing now.
